Crash Damage Repair

Motorcycle Insurance Claims & Repair
MCS works with you and your insurance company to
handle your accident.

How the Insurance Repair Process works:
After your motorcycle arrives at MCS, we inspect the crash damage and write a detailed repair estimate covering all of the damage that happened. For most accidents, the only way to get a true estimate is to disassemble the bike to find any hidden damage.

Once the estimate is complete, we contact your insurance company and inform them that we have your estimate ready. At this point the insurance company will send an adjuster to our shop to go over the estimate with us and compare the damage listed in the estimate with the damage on the motorcycle.

Upon approval of the estimate by the adjuster, they will submit approval of payment to the insurance company. The insurance company then agrees to make payment for the amount specified on the estimate less any deductible you may owe.

At this point we will place the order for factory OEM replacement parts for each item that needs replacing and get your motorcycle ready for re-assembly as soon as the new parts arrive. We will give you an accurate estimate of when your bike will be completed, and keep you informed of the progress.

To complete the repair process your bike is tested on the street, then it is given a complete professional detail. The insurance check is not cashed until you have received your bike and are satisfied with all repairs.

All work is done by myself - Jake Meyer -  and my business partner - Dean Cognito.  Between us we have over 60 years of motorcycle repair. We have no apprentices or trainees...
all work is performed by myself or Dean.

Rest assured that  you will get top quality repair and attention to detail that is not available at most motorcycle shops.
